SUPREME COURT UNDEFENDED DIVORCE PETITION An undefended divorce petition was heard in the Supreme Court yesterday morning by His Honour Mr.. Justico Hoslcing. This was the case ,in which Mabol 0. Hutchison prayed for dissolution of Tier_ marriage with William c a Oll Hutchison, journalist, formerly of Auckland, on the ground of desertion and misconduct. Mr. A. Gray, •K.C., with him Mr. D. 11. H'oggard, appeared in support'of the petition. ■ i 1 parties were married in England m 1902 and subsequently lived, together in England, South Africa, and New Zealand. There were two children of the marriage, both being iu the custody of tho petitioner. Respondent had failed to maintain his wife and children over a considerable period of years, and ovidence was given as to his misconduct _ with a photographers retoucher in Auckland. His Honour granted a decree nisi, tvhich may bo made absoluto in four months. Petitioner was granted interim oustody of tho . children.
