KENT TERRACE CHURCH
—' : MEETING OF CONGREGATION. The annual meeting of the congregation of the Kent Terrace Presbyterian Churcli was' held last evening, Dr. J. Kennedy Elliott presiding. During the course of his opening remarks the chairman said that it was suggested that a new schoolroom should bo built with separate class-rooms.. The sum of £596 Was in.band for this purpose, and an endeavour would be made to bring that amount up to £1000 by the end of the present financial year. Mr. J. S. Dunnett proposed the adoption of the annual report, and in doing so congratulated the congregation, on the success of the year's work. Mr. M. ."Fraser, who seconded the motion, stated that it was. gratifying to see the financial position this .year ill comparison with previous periods. The revenue had almost met the expenditure, and this was the first yearthat such a thing had happened without having to take up a special'collection. After several other members of the congregation had spoken supper was handed round, and the meeting closed.
