ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
KILLED WHILE BUSHFELLING. 1 (By TelegraDh.—Prew ; Association.' Pahiatua, September 6. 'Alexander Durrand, aged 30, a singlo man, was killed while buslifelliug atBerkahn's Oamp, Waione, in the Pongaroa district; on Saturday. Deceased was said to be an ex-Nary man, belonging to the north of Scotland, and he had only been on the job three days. The body has been brought to Pongaroa for the inquest.
