SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications 'arc lor changeable woather generally, squally and. show- ■ ctfy in parts, especially in the western districts and in the southern portion of tho South Island. Moderate to stTong westerly winds , are probable, ; veering to 'increasing northerties, the barometer falling again shortly in the south. ' The weather was unsettled, and boisterous in parts on Saturday and Sunday, with rain generally' and etiow on the higher levels.. A rapidly moving Antarctic depression passed on Sunday, and high westerly to south-westerly winds have prevailed, but conditions have moderated to-day, cxcept in tho northern and southernmost ddstrtcte.
