N.Z. NATIVES' LADIES' GUILD

A meeting of the New Zealand Natives' Association's Ladies' Guild was held yesterday for the purpose of making arrangements for welcoming the returning wounded soldiers who will be unable to participate in tho public welcome. Mrs. A. M'Vicar presided. Mr. M'lntyre, secretary of tho New Zealand Natives' Association, stated that he had received permission for their party to go aboard tho troopship as soon as those who wero a bio to attend ,tho welcome were off. He had also arranged for a concert party to go aboard and give an entertainment in the evening. The jpiild has done very good work in visiting the hospitals and convalescent homes where there are troopers. Another thoughtful action of the guild is that of assisting soldiers who have teen discharged as medically unfit.
