Friday, she is not expected to arrive here till to-morrow afternoon. There are 74 saloon and 122 steerage .passengers, as well, ae about ICOO tons of cargo on board, for Wellington. Under ordinary conditions it takes a vessel about eiglit hours to come through Cue Tanama Canal, but on account of a slide in the Gaillard' Out (formerly known as Ouisbra) the Navarino, bound from New York to New Zealand, was delayed for 12 days. The ves6el is bringing down a full load of caise oil for the Vacuum Oil Company, ami is not due at Auckland for about a week. Wellington, Lyttelton, and Duncdin will be visited in that order, and when discharge has heeu finished tho Navarino will be 'taken over for a totally 'different purpose to that which she has been trading in.
