Tho Wellington Professional Orchestra gave their, sixth concert of the 1015 season in His Majesty's Theatre last riighfc The-'programme, opened with Weber's overture from "Oberon," a popular and oft-repeated overture that is strung with, the brilliantly melodious numbers from the opera. ■ The orchestra's interpretation of the overture mas pleasing. An interesting ballet suite from "The Queen of Sheba" followed. This characteristic . suite coiniiosed by Goldmark was played quite creditably by the orchestra.- The hrst .ivas the "Dance of Bayaderes," (2) "Bee 'Dance of the Almas," (3)- 'Teil Dance," and (d) "Processional March." .Quite an interesting number was Tschaikowslty's concerto for pianoforte and .orchestra. In this Mrs. Herbert Bloy was a satisfying pianist. : The programme was brought to a conclusion with Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody," ''No. 2. ' The orchestra will give its neit concert on Sunday, October 3. ' ; ■ '
