The first meeting of the newly-elected board of the' New Zealand Trotting Association was held this afternoon. Tho following officers were elected for the ensuing year President, Mr. P. Selig; vice-president, 'Mr. IT.- T.- Nieoll; hon. treasurer, Mr. W. J. Hopkins; licensing committee, Messrs. W. G. Garrard and' W. H Denton; colours committee, Messrs;-. H. W. Kitchingham, and T., T. Ritchie; appeal committee, the president, vicepresident, and Mr. ;H. W. Kitchingham; foreign hoi'se committee, Messrs. W. G. Garrard and T. T. Ritchie; examiner in Christchurch of foreign horses, Mr. W. G. Garrard; 1 auditor, Mr.. C. J.'Marshall.
