After the miners returned, Mr. Runcimim intimated that a hitch had arisen, necessitating further deliberations. It is understood that/the difficulty is not between tlio coal owners and'the miners; but betiveen lioth and the Government. All have agreed to resume the conference this morning, -when an agreement will likely, be, arrived at. CRUX OF THE DISPUTE. QUESTION OF NIGHT-SHIFTS. ' .London, August 30. It is understood the coalowners have agreed-to include workers excluded by ilr. Runciman, President of the Board of Trade. Ten thousand Monmouth strikers are resuming work, pending a conference.
