| SUPREME COURT TWO DIVORCE CASES; Two applications for divorce wero heard by His Honour Mr. Justice Hosting in the Supreme Court yesterday. Mark Henry Hawthorne applied for a divorce from his wife, Jlargaret Jane, whom he married in 1898. Hawthorne stated that his wife wos an inspector of factories before the marriage, and retained her -appointment after the marriage. They lived in Wellington awhile, and then he moved to Auckland at her, request. She did not go to Auckland to reside, and later on refused to live with him. ■ He had seen her only once in tho last ten years. His Honour granted a decree nisi, which ■ may be made' absolute in three months. ' Herbert Clark sought to be divorced from Clara Louisa Fryer Clark, and alleged adultery as a ground for the application. The parties, who had heen living apart for five years, were married in 1899, and had threo children. The Court granted a decree nisi, which ' nay be- made absolute in three months.
