At the annual meeting of the Southland Racing Club the balance of a fund collected amongst club subsmbers last year to the amount of -C-0- 12s. Gil., for the Gore Belief of Soldiers' Fund, was voted to the Sports and Prmcws Committee Fiuid on belialt of tho Wounded Soldiers' Fund. Subsequently a recommendation to the incoming committee to donate a subscription from the club funds to bring the amount to to handed over to the Sports and Princess Committee Fund up to 4i500 was enthusiastically decided upon.
