Is. 6d. per hour; qua'rrymsn,.ls. 3d. ;'others, Is, 2d. . _ , The Wellington Bacon Factory Award states that the'hours of woijk shall not exceed forty-eiaht per week, to bo worked between 7.30 and 6 p.m., with, a maximum of eight and-three-quarters 'hours in any. one day. Wagos: Slaughtermen, cutters-up and rollers, Is: 4d. per hour; men .working_ in freezing chambers, Is. 3d.; tinsmiths, is. 3d.; all other workers, Is. 2d. The wages of youths from fourteon to twenty years are fixed at from 12s. weekly- to 30s, I'ho Manawatu Flaxmills 1 Award fixes the working week at fortv-oight hours, and tho minimum hourly pay nti Stripper, Is. 9d.; automatic scutcher, Is. 5d.; bench loader, Is. 2d.: paddocker, Is. 2id.; tow shaker. Is. Id.; feeder, Is. 4d; sorter, Is Id.; rouseabout, Is. Id.; washer, Is. 2Jd.; unspecified labour, Is. Id. Drivers are to get £2 12s. 6d. weekly.
