PETONE BOROUGH COUNCIL
'At a special meeting of the Petone Borough Council held on Monday evening for the purpose of considering tenders in respect to the 4 sewerago connections. it was decided, after somo deliberation, that the council undertake the work itself. A motion held over from the last ordinary meetin®, moved by Councillor M'Kenzie, to the effect that permanent employees of. the council joining tho.Expeditionary Forces, should be. granted half-pay whilst on active service, was brought forward by Councillor M'DouKall, in the absence of the original mover, but was not seconded, slid consequently lapsed,
