' THE CRYSTALATE CUP. first two games in this annual fixture, which is really tho amateur inter-club championship for tho Wellington Province, were played last night at Messrs. Alcock and Company's showrooms. H. Stone (Petone W.M. Club) beat D. Dennison (Post and Telegraph), and S. Brice (Petone W.M. Cluo) beat H. .Vaney. (St.' Anne's Club). All tho players showed a decided improvement on 1 their-first, year's form, and gave quite interesting performances. To-niglit the games are between E. W. Warren and A. W'akem, and J. H., Owen plays last year's winner; A. J. Longdon; Play commences at 7.15 p.m. sharp, and any member of a' Wellington Club is entitled to view; the games. , .
