Tho Biiverina, which left Aiucklond for Sydney on Wednesday, evening, witt leave the New South' Wales port oni tho return trip on Wednesday, August 25, and will arrive at Auckland on Sunday, August 29. Instead of returning -to Sydney she will leave on Tuesday aftcrnoon, Alienist 31, for Ba/st Coast and southern ports, and is dlue at' Wellington on September 3. After 'visiting the Southern ports she will return to Auckland', and will leave the northern port for Sydney on Monday evening, September 13. The Victoria will call at Wellington, Na/pier, Gisborne, and Auoktend before proceeding to Sydney. The Victoria will make two trips to Australia, and will undergo overhaul (taring her stay at Sydney each trap. Consignees of cargo are notified by Messrs. Bannatyno and Co. that the Defender will leave Wellington for Karaaea to-day. It is prohablo that the work of improving the Wairau Bar will take some l time. ' According to wireless advice received by the liead office of the Shaw, Sa-vill, and Albion Company on Saturday the ' Matatua, was expected to arrive at Adelaide from Montreal at noon yesterday. She oloared the Canadian port on Juno 25, and Is due at Wellington about September 17. Commencing on Saturday, next tlio Union Company's steamer Mapourika will leave Wellington • for Picton. Nelson, and West Coast ports at noon instead of 12.45 p.m. Cargo will be received by the vessol up till 4 p.m. every Friday, and up till 10.30 a.m. on Saturday. In future the vessel will not take Nelson cargo.
