The • New Zealand Loan and Mercantile •Agency' Co., Ltd., Dannevirke, report 'havingheld on August 19 a successful clearing salo on account of W. Hcrmansem -Mahttnihara. On August 16 for the cleaning sale at Mr. King's Barrett Head farm the cows wore all Holstein, and those showing well down In calf met. with .great competition, selling np to £17 ffe. for the best, but a good nanir bar were later calvers (no dates being available), and the average for the' herd of £11 43. 6d. was a. very good. one.
