'At St. Mark's Church' yesterday morning a tribute was paid to the memory of the late Rev. W. . Long, one time a missioner in Melanesia. ' Mr. Long worked under the auspices of St. Mark's parish, and was held ill very high esteem for his good -work. The tribute took the form of the unveiling of a memorial tablet. Tho unveiling ceremony was conducted by tho Rev. Dr. Wood, tho Bishop of' Melanesia, who spnUe in terms of great praiso of Mr. Long's fino work in the Melanesia" Mission field, and stated how deeply his death was deplored.
