THISTLE 1915 CHAMPIONS. Saturday afternoon saw the final for the 1915 "soccer" championship, aud after a strenuous tussle Thistle managed to defeat Hospital by 3 goals to nil. The score does not indicate the game, and had it not been for exceptionally good' fortune the champions ■would have left the field -winners by one goal only. Both teams went out fully determined to ivin, and the result was that the 400 or 500 people who witnessed the match were treated to one of the best games of football seen in Wellington. Play was willing and fast, ajid there was not a dull moment from start to finish. There were 110 "beg pardons," but the best of spirit prevailed.
