FOR THE WOUNDED SOLDIERS
The_ sale of flowers which was held by Miss Cooper and Miss Moss; of Karori, in Routh's Buildings yesterday for the benefit of the Wounded Soldiers' Funds met with very encouraging results. Generous contributions of .flowers had been made, and tho littlo room adjoining Miss Tendall's tearooms was vivid with quantities of narcissi, white and yellow, freesias, anemones, violets, rhododendrons, flowering currant, boronia, primroses, and many other kinds of flowers. This sale of flowers and pot-plants, it wilj be remembered, is to bo bi-weekly, and the next will take placo on Tuesday. Gifts of pot-plants in to flowcr.s will be much appreciated. Contributions of flowers are acknowledged from Mrs. S. KirJicaldio, Sirs. Mrs. Spilman, Mrs. Stanford, Mr. Teagle, Miss Careons, Mrs. V. Riddiford, Miss Skorrett, Miss Duncan, Mrs. lruebridse, Mrs. Bell. Mrs. G.' Kay, Miss Sealy, Mrs. Rolleston, and Mr. R.Tumbull, also from an anonymous donor from Otaki.
