This week's "Gazctto" contains the following notice to mariners:—Auckland Harbour: Dredging off Freeman's Bay Reclamation—The Auckland Harbour Board have notified, that suction dredger No. 2 is now moored approximately 350 ft. E.N.E. of the north-east corner of the Freeman's Bay Reolumation, oiiid is connected to: th-e mation by a line of pipes placed on punts. All vessels entering thiß basin must pass to the eastward of the dredger. TOte channel side of the diredgor \vill be marked by a red light at night time. NIWARU DTJE TUESDAY. Having arrived at Auckland early yesterday morning from London, via Sydney, the 0. and D. liner Niwaru is due at Wellington on Tuesday next. A call -will be made at Napier en route. About 1400 tons of-cargo will be landed here, on completion, _ of which the Niwaru will commence loading for Home. SOMERSET'S OUTWARD OAEGO. The Barber chartered steamer GhaJister, which is <it present discharging New York cargo at Wellington, is expected to continue her _ journey to Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide late to-night or early to-mor-row morning For the purpose of replenishing her bunker supply the Olan liner Olan Alpine, bound from Brisbane to Boston and New York, put in to Wellington yesterday morning. Fine weather was experienced on tho run across. The Clan, Alpine's cargo includes a largo consignment of wool amounting to some 15,850 balee. A new cut is being made in the Blenheim Bar. When the •work has been completed tlie Opawa will be able to leave that port for Wellington. i On accoumt of the large quantity of cargo whioh had to bo handled, the Mar rmka did mot get away from Wellington far Sydney till late last evening. . Bound from London, the Niiw Zealand Shipping Company's Otaki will leave Auckland for Wellington to-morrow. Port should bo made on Monday next. The Union Company's Mokoia, is due at Wellington from Melbourne, Hobart, and southern ports to-day. Departure will bo taken for Hobart and Melbourne at noon to-morrow. '
