LIVE STOCK SALES Messrs. Daleety and Company, Ltd., tcEort having held their weekly sale in tho evin, yards on. Wednesday, when they offered'a good yarding of Bhesp and a heavy yarding of cattle. Competition all through was exceptionally keen, aoid at the end of the day wo succeeded in disposing of all lines of sheep under tho hammer. In cattle, no difficulty was experienced ' In soiling malo stock, and good competition ruled for all- 6teers offered. Female stock wore a Jittle dull of r»le, with the exception of good dairy lieifers. Wo yarded some good limes of fat wethers and ewes, and 'higph prices ;were obtained for these. The /principal sales were as under:—Pat wethens, 325.'6 d. to 335.; medium-weight fat ewes, 27b. 6d. to 295. 6d.; medium fat cows, £7 18s. to £8 10s.; fair-conditioned empty ewes (large entry), lte. Pahiaitua on Tuesday, when they had a very fair yarding of both sheep end cattle, There was a ltcen demand for wethers and hoggets.
