REPORT FROM AMERICAN EM. BASSY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, August 19. The High Commissioner (Sir Georgo Reid) cables that the American Embassy at Constantinople states that it is understood that the number of Australasian prisoners has increased, and, it has requested that a member, of the Embassy be allowed to visit the prisoners. Constant search is being made in Constantinople for wounded, eio;ht of whom are known. They will receive the same' treatment as the Turkish wounded. The Embassy extends every personal assistance permitted.
