A man named Rydn refused the request of Mr. Hoyle (Minister of Railways) to desist from smoking in a nonsmoking carriage. Ryan informed Mr. Hoyle of his identity, blew : smoke in the Minister's face, and replied, "You fire'the Minister for loafers."- In the Police Court Ryan was bound over to maintain good behaviour for one year.
