WOMEN'S NATIONAL RESERVE

Every woman has an opportunity to help in winning the war, and tho Women's Branch of the National Reserve is inviting women to register their names for various kinds of employment. The classification is:— 1. Professional.—lncludes doctors, trained nurses, draughtswomen, telegraphists, signalling and path-finding, chauffeuers, cheese experts, butter experts, seed testers, etc., involving special knowledge. 2. Clerical.—lncludes all varieties of clerical work, the particular branch of which is to be specified, such as typists, secretaries, etc. 3. Farming.—lncluding all branches, hop picking, fruit picking, harvesting, dairying, etc. 4. Shop Employees.—lncluding all branches, the particular branch of which is to be specified, e.g., bookselling, drapery, etc. o. Factory Employees.—lncluding all branches, the particular branch of which is to be specified, and the particular part of a branch is to be indicated.' 6. Domestic Duties. —Including all branches, such as cooking, laundry work, work of waitress, etc. 7. General.—This head is to include all without previous occupation, but who are willing to'undergo, a short training for other occupations not included in the above, such as tram conductors, lift attendants, lettor carriers, etc. Tho office hours at the National Reserve Office, 157 Featherston Street, are:—4 to 5.30 p.m. daily, except Saturdays ; 12 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday only.
