At the Sailors' Friend. Society last night a bright programme was presented by Mr. and Mts. Jones and party, and numerous encores testified to tho appreciation of the audience. At. the close a hearty vole of thanks to the performers was moved by the missioner, Sir. Moore, and responded to by Mrs. Jones. Items were given by Misses Dodds, Chapman, Jones (3), and Jefferson, Messrs. Walker, Jones (2), and Campbell. Messrs. Price, Stone, and .Tjovrv (s.s. Makarini), anil Girdwood (R.M.S. Rofrorua).
