CHARITY COP MATCHES. As the First Division Championship is practically concluded a start was made with Charity ■ Cup matches on Saturday. Three games were-played, tlie two in town being particularly uninteresting. Diamonds —Swifts; Very little interest was manifested in this match which was played at Duppa Street, and tho standard of play was fair. The game resulted in. a win for Diamonds by five goals to nil. -the points being eeoured by Auld (2), Black (2), and Lowo (1). Mr. Corry 'was the referee. Thistle—Rovers. A handful of spcotators witnessed' tho Thistle-Rovers fixture on tho Basin Ite£ovyo on Saturday. At no 6tago of the game" was play of a high order and most of tho-time it was-uninteresting. Thistle defeated their opponents by four goals to one. Gibson (2), Duncan, and Walker scored:for the winners, and Elford for the losers. Hospital—T.M.C.A. B. After a well-contested game Hospital were successful in beating Y.M.C.A. B by the narrow margin of two goals-to one.
