BOWLING

JOHNSONYILLE CLUB'S REPORT. The directors of the Johnsonville Bowling Club, Ltd., in their annual report, ex-press-their appreciation of the kindness, of those ladies who provided afternoon tea during the season. The number of members on the roll at the close of the season was 36, and as some have since left the district the directors make a special appeal to each member to endear vojij to secure one or more new members and so ensure the oontimiance of the social and financial success of the club. They'feel sure that if this appeal is responded to bur membership will be considerably . increased. The green, was in excellent playinjr order throughout the whole season, and according to the generally expressed opinion, gave_ every satisfaction to members and visiting bowlers, for. which the caretaker (Mr. Kirkpatrick) is to bo complimented.
