Company's fleet,,. arrived at Wellington from London, via Capo Town and Hobart, and subsequently berthed, at the King's Wharf. The liner left London on June 25, calling at Plymouth on June 26 for passengers. Tho journey .from London to Cape Town was characterised by fine weather, with the exception of two days previous to her arrival eut the ' South African port on July 18. The journey was continued on July 19. Fine weather and moderate winds were experienced to the meridian of 64deg. east, when for throe days a gale and very heavy seas was encountered. From thenco to Hobart fair weather and moderate winds 'were tho order. The Rotorua arrived; at Hobart on August 8. Cargo, passengers, and mails were landed there, and departure taken for Wellington on the morning of August '10. Moderate to fresh northerly winds were met with in the Tasman Sea-. Captain T. A. Sutcliffo is -in command, and has the following officers associated with him;—Chief,-Mr. S. W. Somers-Yine; second, Mr. F. Ilaines; third; Mr. Q. Williams; fourth. Mr. E.; Waitts; surgeon, Dr. G. A Press Association message ( has been received from London stating that the 0.. and D. liner Star of Scotland has cleared the Home port for Wellington, via Auckland. The barque Antiope, which is shortly to be converted into a hulk, is at present discharging Newcastle coal at Miramar. Advice has been received by the local 'office of the Union Company stating that their Island trader Navua -left Suva - for Auckland at midnight last Wednesday. She should arrive at her destination today. Laden with cement tho Union Company's Enncrdale left Tarakohc for, Brisbane, via Westport, on Friday last.. and continued her journey from Westport yesterday.
