Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having held their monthly sale at Shannon, on Tuesday last, when they yarded a good entry of both sheep and cattle. Bidding right throughout was most spirited a very satisfactory sale resulting. Quotations—Sheep: A nice line of 120 2, 4, 6 and.f.f.m. ewes, in lamb to Romneys, made 305.; backward f.m. ewes, in lamb, 17s. 8d:; fat wethers, to 325.; hoggets, medium, 155., 15s. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held their usual weekly Palmerston North sale on Thursday, when they offered a fair yarding of stock.
