At an early hour this morning a mo-, tor accident was reported to have taken place on the Kaiwarra Road. A motorcar, in which, it was reported there were three occupants, was said to have collided with a telegraph post with sufficient ' impact- to telescope the can Blood, it was alleged by a motorist, was ■found on the road adjacent to the. wrecked car, but the occupants 'hail, it was reported, been picked up by a paw sing'car and taken to a place unknown.Inquiry at tho Police Station and Hosw pital failed to throw any light on thti;' Tumour. 'Advice has been received that sii chrysanthemums grown by Mr. W« Busch. of Amberley, Christchurch, and forwarded to tho Panama Exhibition in ico. have been awarded a gold medal.. The chrysanthemums wero of the William Tumor variety, and sainod first and second prizes at tho Dunedin and Christchurch Horticultural Societies' Shows in 1914, in addition, to winning the Blythe Memorial and the Rhodes Cups. v At Amberley in tho samo year t-ho_ chrysanthemums wero. awarded the prize for premier blooms at the show.
