Twenty-two officers and 119 men were saved. CRUISERS TO THE RESCUE. (Rec. August 13,10.30 p.m.) Christiana, August 13. Two cruisers saved eighty of the India's crow. Eleven of those who wore landed died from tho effects of exposure. . _ The survivors from the India were much exhausted. Most of them had to be hoisted on board tho rescuing boats. Some of the others were standing on a raft singing "Tipperary." DANISH SCHOONER SUNK. ■ Copenhagen, August 12. The Danish schooner Jason has been sunk. The crew landed at Esbjerg. (Rec. A submarine stopped the mail steamor Iris iu the North Sea and compellod the captain to throw overboard a valuable Russian mail (a breach of the Hague Convention).
