MIRAMAR BOROUGH COUNCIL
The fortnightly meeting of the Miran!ar Borough Council was held last night. Tlie Jlayor (Mr. F. T'ownsend) presided, and there wero also present: Councillors S- M. Stone, H 'Hawthorne, M. Tracey, W. H. Green, and J. Pollock. A letter was received from tho Wellington City Council' stating that it would bo impossible to supply current for tramway and drainage pumping purposes until tho Constable Street extension feeders, wore installed, which would bo about six months lienco. The engineor was instructed' to report to next meeting on the request of the Presbyterian Church Committee that a lamp should be erected at the corner of Brandon and Farres Streets. A complaint was received from Mr.. W. F. Eggcrs -regarding tho sewage ejector at Karaka Bay. Tlie letter stated that a complaint had also been sent to the Public Health Department and to tho Wellington Harbour Board. —Tho letter was received. "
