Ail Austrian prisoner describes tho terrible German brutality towards prisoners at Jaroslav. He says: "I saw Germans ignite a barn in which there were nine Russians. When they attempted to escape they were beaten back with olubs, to the accompaniment of German laughter. "While crossing the San the troops blocked tho small pontoon bridges. A large party of Russian prisoners arrived/ and the German commander said; " 'Throw the Russian devils into the river.' Tho order was carried out. "Many hundreds were bayoneted: before my eyes.
