London, June 2-J. Mr. Clinton R. Boyson, of Tlawko's Bay, arrived here by the Maloja with the intention of.joining the Inns of Court O.'l'.C. Mr. A. C. W. Bain, who is posted as missing in the Dardanelles, was a very well-known Canterbury (N.Z.) family. His sister, Mrs. Smytlie, of Kelson (N.Z.), is at present in London. Tlio High Commissioner was present at afternoon tea at the Victoria League Olub one afternoon last week, when a large number of wounded Australian and New Zealand wounded soldiers wero entertained. Miss Edna Sutherland, of Onohunga, is taking a course of singing under M. Victoria Bcigel, and afc the samo time studying languages. Her father, who accompanied her to England, has returned to New Zealand. Mr. P. C. Corliss, Commissioner of Stamps and Secretary of Lands and Deeds ill the Government Stamp Department (N.Z.), has arrived in England to join his wife and daughter. The following New Zealauders, who wero wounded in the Dardanelles, have now recovered, and are staying at tho Union Jack Club, in London J. P. Fordo, 10th Otago; Private V • Simpson, of Dunedin; and Private G. A. M. M'lntyre, 10th North Otago Battalion. Mr. Aubrey Gualter, of Ganltor, Dykes, and Co., merchants, Wellington, arrived by tho Orient liner Orontcs on May 26, and will stay about thrco months.
