THROWN FROM A TRAP. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Waimate, August 9. A middle-aged man named Frederick Lane, single, a horse-trainer, died in tho hospital yesterday, as tho result of an injury caused by being thrown from a trap on July 10. DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC. Auckland, August 9. Mrs. A. L. Andrews died suddenly at her residence, Woodside lioad, Mount Eden,, to-day, under an anaesthetic. Deceased was 32 years of age. She was in apparently good health, and the operation for which the anaesthetic was administered was of a minor nature. Death occurred about five minutes after the anaesthetic was given. .
