PROFESSOR VON ZEDLITZ
NO CASE FOR INTERNMENT. The Prime Minister has had from tho Aliens' Board a report upon the caso of Professor von Zcdlitz, of Victoria College. Mr. Massey states that tho board examined a number of witnesses, including members of tho College Council, members of the Professorial Board, students of the college, and ono prominent citizen of Wellington, and in reply to tho questions submitted answers were as follow: — Did they think that in the circumstances which had arisen it might bo inadvisable that Professor von Zedlita should remain freo from internment as an enemy subject? The answer was "No." Had Professor von Zcdlitz's conduct, sinco the acceptance of his parole, been such as to justify the Government in dealing with him as a disaffected person? Tho answer was again "No." "I cannot amplify that," said Mr.' Massey.
