SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for -strong easterly to northerly winds prevailing, with sqnally conditions in tlie north. Expect increasing cloudiness, with unsettled conditions and rain following generally, and a falling • barometer everywhere. Stormy conditions and strong easterly winds have ruled in the northernmost parts, and rain lias fallen there and oil the Bast Coast districts of the North Island, but fair to cloudy weather ha,3 prevailed elsewhere.
