The Carterton Club is to be asked to appoint a member to fill Mr. Reid's place.. The proposed tour to Nelson and Marlborough was abandoned for the present season. ASSOCIATION ITJMAR.Y SCHOOLS' FIXTURES. The following will be the primary schools' fixtures for next Friday afternoon:—lsland Bay v. Wadestown, Duppa Street, 3.30 p.m.; Worser Bay v. GOLF A mixed foursome competition was played at the Hutt links on Saturday last, and resulted in a tie between Dr. Mirams and Mrs. Hayward and Harris and Miss Harris, with a net score of 3 down. The play-off will tske place at an early date. For the Wilford cup competition, the best cards returned during the month of July were:—Men: T. H. Dawson, 4 up; W. Brodrick, 2 up; 11. W. Reed, 1 up. Ladies: Mrs. Wagg, I up. The monthly bogey competition' will be played on Saturday neyt.
