HUTT VALLEY PIGEON CLUB
At the annual meeting of the Hutt Valley Homing Pigeon Club the following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. V. Riddiford (Lower Hutt); president,' Mr. J. Abrahall (Petone); vice-presi-dents, Messrs. H. Cowsell (Auckland), J. Sliarpe, J. W. M'Ewim (Petone); H. Baldwin, S. V. Clendon, R. Dwyer (Lower Hutt); secretary, Mr. W. J. ■Smith; treasurer, Mr. G. Whitehead; committee, Mossrs. G. England, A. Booth, E. M'Maiho.i. J. Mellows, P. Barnard; judging committee, Messrs. W. J. Smith, \Y. Booth, irnd G. Whitehead; auditors, Messrs. E. • and J. Booth. ' • The report stated tiiat' several -non members had joined this season, and that there were about 300 birds owned by members of the club. The first race will be flown from Wanganui .in about live weeks' tinie.
