CLAIM FOR, COMPENSATION. (By Telegraph.—Preps Association." i ■ _ Gisborne, August 3. The Arbitration Court delivered judgment in the claim for compensation against the East Coast Rabbit Board lodged by the widow of a- rabbiter killed by a fall over a cliff on New Year's Day whilst engaged in hunting goats, to provide food for his dogs. The defence urged that the day being a holiday the accident arose outside the scope of deceased's employment. The Court held that the accident did arise out of his employment. Judgment was given for tho amount of the claimj £512, and costs.
