The head offico of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Oompany has been advised that their steamer Rangatira, which cleared Wellington for London on Juno 18, Arrived at her destination on Friday morning, July 30. • NOTICE TO MARINERS. - The-Marine Department has notified mariners that largo quantities of floating logs and drift-wood have been sighted south-south-west from Wellington Heads. The obstruction extends for about eight miles, and it is likely to drift between that point and Cape l'alliser for several days. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. | Mr. A. H.
