Marlcham referred to the case of one Richwald, who had changed his name to Blacker. . Ho was a son of Krupp's coniidential representative in London, yet as Major Blacker he had been sent to India' four months before tho war, and made assistant military secretary to tho Commander-in-Chief, and had access to confidential information. When war broke out he was promoted.to bo Chief of tho Intelligence Department of tho Indian Corps, which was sent out to France.
