A FAREWELL PRESENTATION

Yesterday morning, at the Marairui Branch of the Richmond Free Kindergarten, Miss D'Oyley, the late director, at the . branch, who is leaving by tie Moana on a Visit to America, was the recipient' of soveral gifts from tho children lately under her care! There ivas a large .'gathering of parents present, and a letter of appreciation : of Miss D'Oyley's services was read to tho gathering, and afterwards handed to •Miss D'Oyley. The gifts comprised a handsome travelling-rug, cushion, book, and basket, whicu was filled with lioial tributes from tho children. Miss D'Oyley having returned thanks, three hearty cheers for thoir late teacher were given by the children. Miss D'Oyley's place -will be filled during her absence by Miss Hind.
