Dalgety and Co. report having offered a .very heavy yarding of both sheep ana .'cattle.'. Competition for ell good line® of sheep was spirited, but any lowconditioned sneep were much easier than former sales. We yarded a very nice line of prime fat ' ewes on account of Messrs. M'Kenzie Bros., Woodlands, which realised the record price of £1 146: 8d„ and also a very good line of 600 well-grown hoggets off turnips, on account of Messrs.
