THE SITUATION CAUSING MORE CONCERN (''Times" and Sydney "Sun." Services.) 1 London, July 28. The Nevr York correspondent of "The Times" states that the Leelanaw incident has sensibly increased the concern with which officials view the' situation, but they hesitate, in tKe absence of details, to construe it as coming within the warning of the last American Note. German agents are exceedingly angry with President Wilson, and are also demanding that Sir Cecil Spring-Rice, the British Ambassador, shall be given his passports, alleging that ho has been guilty of unneutral behaviour.
GERMAN SUBMARINES AT ; ZEEBRUGGE TWELFTH ARRIVAL FROM ANTWELP Amsterdam, July 28. The twelfth submarine, from Antwerp has passed the Scheldt and reached Zcebrugge. The Allies' ainnen on Monday bombed submarines lying in tho Scheldt and Ghent Canal. No damage resulted, though tho airmen destroyed a German guardhouse near by. An aerodrome has been established in Saint Denis Square, _Glient. .A hundred airmen practise daily, and there- are ten to twenty aeroplanes constantly in the air. . (Rec. July 29, 9.20 p.m.) Amsterdam, July 29. Reports from Belgium state that French warships on Friday bombarded Zeebragge and badly damaged a German torpedo-boat. Airmen bombed Zeebrugge for four nights. It is believed that thoy damaged two submarines.
