'At a meeting yesterday, ivliicli had been adjourned from Wednesday last, tho council of tlio Now Zealand University conferred the appointment of Registrar upon Mr. G. G. Robison, at prosent an assistant master at Wellington College. Tho now Registrar is 43 years of age, and has been'a member of the AVellington College staff for about twenty years. : He is a graduiito of Canterbury College, where "no .obtained tho degree of Master of Arts witli first-class honours. There were '12 applicants for tho position which Mr. Robison has been appointed to fill. So far there has only been a alight advance on tho prices of tho famous Victor Cheese Vats, and factories are now ordering in view of a possible further increase.
