CLEARING OF THE STORES.
' A brief but very satisfactory statement'concerning the export of meat from New Zealand was made to a reporter by the Prime Minister yesterday.' : ■ "On July 31," said Mr. Massey, ''there will be in store in New Zealand 2,036,420 oarcasses of meat. On August 31 there will be 1,673,000 carcasses. Steamers arranged for in September will lift 840,000 carcasses, leafing in store 'at the end of September 833,000 carcasses, plus killings for that month. We have also a very large number of ships to load in October." , .
