London, Jiuie 10. Mr. Robert Hamilton, of Christciiurch, is staying at Cambusland, in Scotland. ; ' Mr. Harold Buttorworth', of Auckland, is in: London, and hopes l to got into tlio Royal Flying Corps. Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Marsack, of Auckland, and their children, - are at present staying with relatives at Tunbridgo Wells. ■ They,intend remaining in England for a. year, and during most of that time Dr. Marsack will bo doing hospital work. Ho has applied for a commission in the R.A.M.C. Captain 0. Gordon Armour, of Duncdin, who, is in tho 24th Battalian Victoria Rifles, Canadian Expeditionary Force, arrived at Plymouth on May 19 by the Cameronia. He is encamped at Shorncliffo with liis regiment, and beforo going'to the .front he hopes to be able to make short trips to London, Wales, and Scotland, on visits to friends. The Rev. Leonard H. Hunt, of Knox College, Dunedin, who arrived in England by the Orontes, Intends spending a month in London before paying visits to relatives and friends in Wales and the' Shetland Islands. He expects to be away for about a year. - Miss K. M. Mattliewson, of Palmerston North, and her friend, Miss Stevenson, who arrived by the Orontes a fortnight ago, intend staying in. London for this month,'and wiil go on to Sootland and Ireland for July. Later they hope to go to Paris.
