The Council of the New Zealand Foot* ball League adopted the following resolution this evening:—"That this councils of opinion that unless tho challenging leagues, and Auckland, , the holders of tho cup, can .agree to devota tho net proceeds of matches to either the Hospital Ship and Wounded Soldiers' Fund or somo other patriotic purpose. no other renresentative match should be played this season."- •'
