When the car' had travelled as far as 1 Lamb'ton Quay- Police Station she fell backwards oil to the wood blocks, and sustained a deep cut across tho right eyo and concussion. She was taken to the police station, and Dr. Hardwick Smith, who was called in, after attending to her, ordered lier removal to the: Hospital. Mrs. Hitchcock was on her way to Newtown, when she fell off the tram. She has a married daughter residing in Brooklyn. ! '
